Kelly never put a foot wrong today, absolutely rock solid. Sadler had a couple of wild passes but when he was needed in defence, he was there and did the business.

Martin Taylor had the game of his life today and led our back 4 to another clean sheet.

:applause: :applause: :applause: awesome guys!

surely Brucie must concentrate on signing a couple of decent defenders,,,stephen kelly is possibly the worst right back i can remember in the last 20 years and jaidi is a liability too in my opinion.

oooo good post, the defence is not as great as people make out. It is a fairly old in terms of Jaidi and N Gotty both of who will be heading for retirement come another 2 seasons or so. They all make to many careless mistakes, but for the moment they are all we have and i hope they can prove that they are good enough to fight in the prem **thumbup

i am replying to my own post :P the defence has proved it can keep a cleansheet against championship teams which is good **thumbup and only let liverpool score 1 so congrats to them :applause:

PLAYERS OUT-
Gray, not because i want him out, i dont want him out at all, i think he's a great players, who just needs a good run out.

PLAYERS IN-

Billy Jones- 20- Crewe
Plays all acoss the back of defence, making him good as at least a sub. Plays for England U21's aswell. This guy is going to be big i reckon. Crewe sold Ashton for 3m when he was top goalscorer in championship. Jones should be fairly cheap 1.25mish i'd say.

Kris Commons- 20- Nottingham Forest
If gray goes i would like to see Commons bought in. Kris is an out and out left winger aswell, who is nippy and has a great cross and scores a few aswell. Won FA Cup Player of the Round last year, and was part of FA Cup team of the year. Shouldnt be too pricey either. 1.5m max

If Gray was to leave, we'd have enough for Commons easily. Id hope the board would see the potential of players in the league below, like Tottenham did, now they in UEFA Cup.

A Brazilian- any age- any brazilian club

Ever seen a bad brazilian?
